Charlotte is home to 14 Certified B Corporations, part of a statewide network of more than 70 companies proving that business can thrive while supporting people and the planet. These companies demonstrate a commitment to strong governance, community well-being, and environmental leadership.
Globally, more than 10,000 B Corps across 100 countries and over one million workers are advancing social impact, environmental stewardship, and economic and racial justice.
What is a
Certified B Corp?
Certified B Corps are for profit companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. B Corps use the power of business to do more than seek profit. They use their profits and growth to positively impact their stakeholders, and the planet.
B Corps Believe That Doing Good is Good Business.
B Corps balance purpose and profit, protect their mission as they grow, and build trust with customers, employees, and investors, driving a regenerative, inclusive economy.
